Mission San Jose, California

Mission San Jose was founded in 1797 and was included in the City of Fremont when it was incorporated in 1957.

The first water works were built in 1870 by a company whose superintendent of Juan Gallegos.

The Alameda County Water District was formed in 1914 and bought the Gallegos Water Works in 1940.

Water is provided by the Alameda County Water District, which has a history book.
