District Heating in Nassau Bay, Texas

The Houston Natural Gas Corporation subsidiary Thermal Systems, Inc. built a central heating/cooling plant in Nassau Bay Texas that opened in 1964.

This was the third such system built by a natural gas utility.  It was shut down and abandoned by 1990.
