Bay City

Bay City, Michigan

Bay City was incorporated as a village in 1859 and as city in 1865.

The city built a Holly water works system that began service in December, 1872 using one of the first Holly Quadruplex pumps and two Holly rotary pumps that forced water through Wyckoff wooden pipes that had been manufactured locally by the Northwestern Gas and Water Pipe Company..

Water is supplied by the city of Bay City.
