Mill City, Nevada

Mill City was founded in 1864 and is now a ghost town.

The Mill City and Water Company was incorporated in 1864 by A. Ginaca, C.W. Shaug, L.E. Ritter, C.F. Gintz, J.A. Allganer, G.B. Audometti, J. Lailey, and Lewis Greenfield "to lay out a town to be known as Mill City" and to supply "the inhabitants of Mill City with a sufficient quantity of water for all domestic and fire purposes."
