Saint Johnsville, New York

Saint Johnsville was incorporated as a village in 1857.

The St. Johnsville Water-works Company was incorporated in 1881 to improve water power in the village, but not to supply water.

The village built a gravity water system in 1879 for domestic service, and built a new water system in 1895 for fire and domestic service.

Water is provided by the Village of Saint Johnsville, which has a very complete set of  history pages.
