Fogelsville, Pennsylvania

Fogelsville was settled in 1798.

The "present members of the Pure Spring water company," Ephraim Troxell, Henry Kinckiner, Aaron Walbert, Nathan Klotz, Addison Erdman, Solomon Fogel, Henry J. Haberacker, John Erdel, William A. Helfrich, Simon Troxell, Edwin Kromlich and Henry Mehlhouse were incorporated "to supply a sufficient quantity of soft and pure water, to any building in the said village, of Fogelsville."  No evidence has been found that this company built a system either before or after its incorporation.

Water is provided by the Lehigh County Authority, which was formed in 1966.
