Foxburg, Pennsylvania

Foxburg was incorporated as a borough in 1930.

The Foxburg Water Works Company was incorporated on June 29, 1877 and built a system that pumped water from the Allegheny River into tanks..

The Foxburg Water Company was incorporated on May 7, 1947 and bought the Foxburg Water Works Company.

The Foxburg Area Water and Sewer Authority was incorporated on April 6, 1959.

Water is provided by Foxburg Area Water & Sewer Authority.

Foxboro Council has accepted a motion of purchase the Foxboro Water Col it was learned at a special meeting of the council last week.  The Foxburg authority has taken a one-year option on the property at the request of council.  Purchase price was $32,000.

The Foxburg Area Water and Sewer Authority has been granted a federal load of $170,000, according to L.D. Noel of Foxburg.  Purchase and renovating of the existing water supply and distribution system.  The Noel family is selling the community water system to the Foxburg Sewer and Water and Authority.
