Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Lebanon was incorporated as a borough in 1821 and as a city in 1885.

The borough was authorized to build water works in 1869 and built a gravity system that began service in 1872.

The City of Lebanon Authority was incorporated on July 30, 1935.

Water is provided by City of Lebanon Authority.

1873 A further supplement to the act, entitled "An Act providing for the introduction of water into the borough of Lebanon," approved April fifteenth, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.  April 8, 1873.

1878 An act repealing a part of the first section of an act, entitled “A further supplement to an act providing for the introduction of water into the borough of Lebanon,” approved the eighth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, said act being a supplement to an act approved the fifteenth day of April, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, entitled “An act providing for the introduction of water into the borough of Lebanon.”  April 17, 1878.
