Central Plants, Inc., a subsidiary of Pacific Energy, developed two multi-customer plants in Los Angeles that began operating in 1966. One served Century City in West Los Angeles and the second that serves the Bunker Hill Redevelopment area in downtown Los Angeles.
These plants were sold to Sempra Energy in 1998, then to Trigen in 2006, Veolia in 2007, Enwave in 2017, and finally to CenTrio Energy in 2021.
